Just got back last night from seeing the in-laws in Plymouth. I've spent all day today getting to grips with the new computer and also Windows 7 - it doesn't hold any fears for me now!! The help menus are fantastic and it's not going to be too bad getting used to it I don't think (famous last words).
The best news is that I've been able to access the September photos I thought I'd lost, so I'll be able to do a few more blogs before I run out again.
Thanks Gerry, yes, an external hard drive is better than CDs. I'm glad I got one some weeks ago.
I'm having a lot of trouble today with a new blog trying to get the text small enough - it keeps becoming larger when I publish the post (at one time it went up to 72 point which was enormous!) I don't understand what's happening - I've tried two different browsers to format it but the text is still strange. Maybe it's the website having problems - I hope it's not me!

I've just finished saving mine,I now back up to an external hard drive its a lot easier than cds.
