French submarine departing the Clyde which for some reason appears to be flying the Union Jack.

Dutch Pioneer
The tug Dutch Pioneer berthed at the site of the old John Browns shipyard Clydebank.
She had sailed up the River Cart which flows into the Clyde to collect a barge from Steel Engineering in Paisley.

HMS Sutherland
HMS Sutherland is a Type 23 frigate of the British Royal Navy. She is the thirteenth ship in the Duke class of frigates and is the third ship to bear the name, more than 200 years since the name was last used.

Launched: March 9, 1996

She is seen here leaving the Gareloch and entering the Firth.
