St Andrews suspension bridge in Glasgow Green was built in 1854 by Charles O'Neil and the engineer Neil Robson.
The bridge connects the Green to
Hutchesontown . With its fluted cast Iron Corinthian columns this little bridge comes as a surprise to many who only know the more visible suspension bridge in Clyde Street. There was originally a toll for this
little bridge of 2d a week.

What a beautiful bridge! Yes, it did come as a surprise to me. I would like to visit it one day. I'll add it to the list!
