Hi Gerry,
Excellent shot of my former home town. The church spire on the left is the former Barony Church where my mother and late father were married on Spet 8th 1967. I was later to serve as a junior member of the Boys Brigade who used the Barony after it closed in the 70s.
The Primary School lies behind which was built in 1983 to replace the former main building which was destroyed by fire in May 1980.
I used to live in Glenside Grove which is beside the entrance to Kirktonhall Glen until I moved to Greenock in 1998.
