Millport Flood Defence
Offshore works are now underway and involve the construction of breakwaters between small offshore islands.
The breakwaters will create a calm area of water, which is essential to allow a proposed marina - an Ayrshire Growth Deal project - to be constructed in the future.

TITAN CRANE CLYDEBANK SCOTLAND
Titan Clydebank, more commonly known as the Titan Crane is a 150-foot-high (46 m) cantilever crane at Clydebank, West Dunbartonshire, Scotland. It was designed to be used in the lifting of heavy equipment, such as engines and boilers, during the fitting-out of battleships and ocean liners at the John Brown & Company shipyard. It was also the world's first electrically powered cantilever crane, and the largest crane of its type at the time of its completion.

Ardrishaig
Ardrishaig is a coastal village on Loch Gilp, at the southern entrance to the Crinan Canal in Argyll and Bute in the west of Scotland. It lies immediately to the south of Lochgilphead, with the nearest larger town being Oban.
