Seen on the river today was Tarnholm entering Rothsey Dock to discharge her load of fuel , she was helped by the tug Kindeace.

As twilight falls on a clear December day,the coaster Kielder is anchored off the coast of Gourock,in the background is the entrance to Loch Long.

Blas De Lezo

I photographed this Spanish frigate just after first light on a cold but beautiful April morning.
The name of frigate refers to the Spanish naval hero Blas De Lezo, after 23 campaigns he had lost one of his legs an arm and an eye!
