Nelson's Monument Glasgow Green

The Nelson Monument on Glasgow Green is a 144-foot (44 m) tall stone obelisk built in 1806 to commemorate the naval victories of Vice Admiral Horatio Nelson. It is notable for being the first civic monument in Britain erected in Nelson's honour, preceding the more famous Nelson's Column in London's Trafalgar Square by over 30 years.

 The S75 Zobel (or Zobel von Jabietz) was a German Schnellboot (Fast Attack Craft) of the 143A Gepard class.

She visited Glasgow in 2006 for a Nato exercise.
