HMS GLASGOW








 HMS Glasgow is the first Type 26 frigate to be built for the United Kingdom's Royal Navy.

 The Type 26 class will partially replace the navy's thirteen Type 23 frigates, and will be a multi-mission warship designed to support anti-submarine warfare, air defence and general purpose operations.

Flying Dutchman

 










This former herring drifter first set sail in 1903 under the name “KW 33” it was restored as an employment creation project before its new owner carried out renovation work during the winter of 2003/2004, turning it into the “Flying Dutchman”, a luxury schooner.

She is seen here at Oban and Tobermory.
