Inchgreen Drydock
Inchgreen Drydock in Greenock is being used for construction of a ferry berthing extension for Ullapool Pier.
The 33-metre structure when built will be towed to the harbour .
The decision to build off site at Inchgreen means the ferry service can be maintained.
The extension is needed because the new 116-metre CalMac ferry MV Loch Seaforth which is due to arrive in August 2014 will replace the current ferry MV Isle of Lewis.
