Dolores Ibarruri ."The Passion Flower"
On the Banks of the Clyde at Custom House Quay, a short walk from the suspension bridge in the heart of Glasgow lies this superb statue of Dolores Ibarruri ."The Passion Flower".The International Brigade's monument to the British Volunteers in the Spanish Civil War of 1936-9. Their fight against fascism is embodied in the statue of Dolores Ibarruri (1895-1989)
