Sealand Performance




Having spent a year tied up with other Maersk lay up ships in Loch Striven, Sealand Performance was removed from the Loch to the tail of the bank were her engines were restarted,prior to being re-flagged and sold on.

AIDAaura

AIDAaura is the third ship operated by the German cruise line AIDA Cruises,the other two being Aid Acara and AidAvita,click HERE for photographs of Aid Acara sailing from the Clyde.

She was built in Germany at a cost of $350 million in 2003.
She normally carries 1300 passengers with a crew of 418.

Kelvinhaugh Ferry















The Kelvinhaugh ferry ran from Stag Lane close to the Govan Graving Dock to Yorkhill on the North Bank,apparently busy on Saturdays when Rangers were playing at home at near by Ibrox stadium.
She was withdrawn from service in the early 1980s.

The ferry is now preserved by enthusiasts,she usually has one or two outings each year.
