SD Northern River







SD northern River seen passing Dumbarton on her way to Glasgow to collect specialised equipment for submarine rescue, a duty she has carried out for a few years. The Clyde has a few training areas for Royal Navy Submarines as well as a base at Faslane on the Gareloch.

Cape Elise















































Cape Elise departing the Great Harbour having been in the harbour for essential repairs.
Due to her size it took five tugs to guide her out ,three Svitzers and two SD military tugs.
