Fog Gun






The remains of a fog gun off the coat of Rosneath,not sure when it was dismantled ,it now houses a light signal.

The signal was created by the automatic explosion of acetylene gas within the guns, which were under the control of the Gourock Pilots

Toward Lighthouse













Toward Lighthouse at Toward Point lies 6 miles south of the seaside town of Dunoon.
It was built by Robert Stevenson in 1812.

An exellent place for watching seals and the CalMac ferrys on their way to Rothesay.
