Terschelling

The Dutch vessel Terschelling built in the Netherlands in 1963.

Named after the picturesque West Frisian Island, where it was stationed, the vessel was originally commissioned by the Dutch Coastguard to serve as a buoy layer and lightship tender in the North Sea.

Terschelling  served the Dutch coastguard for three decades, before the ship transitioned into private British ownership, retaining its original name and found a new role as a dive salvage vessel.

She is seen here at Ayr Harbour, currently being painted,no other information available at the moment.
