The new passenger only Gourock to Dunoon ferry,she started on the 30June 2011 when Caledonian Mc Brayne were forced to stop running a ferry service due to European regulations,CalMac being part owned by the government meant that it was seen to have an unfair advantage over Western ferry's who run a car ferry to Dunoon.
