St Andrews suspension bridge in Glasgow Green was built in 1854 by Charles O'Neil and the engineer Neil Robson.The bridge connects the Green to Hutchesontown . With its fluted cast Iron Corinthian columns this little bridge comes as a surprise to many who only know the more visible suspension bridge in Clyde Street. There was originally a toll for this little bridge of 2d a week.
