SD Northern River








 SD Northern River is a  multi-purpose auxiliary ship operated by Serco Marine Services in support of the United Kingdom's Naval Service and is currently the largest ship operated by Serco Marine Services, both in terms of dimensions and gross tonnage.

She is seen here at James Watt Dock undergoing maintenance work.

SD Tornado




SD Tornado seen at James Watt Dock in 2008.

A140 Tornado built 1979 by Russell Hall ,one of 4 Tornado class torpedo retrievers. Displacement: 698 tons full load; Dimensions: 156 x 28 x 10 feet

Propulsion: 2 diesels, 2 shafts, 2,200 bhp, 14 knots Crew: 14 

She is now known as LEV Tornado and operates as a salvage and rescue vessel in Germany.
