USS Forrest Sherman (DDG-98)




USS Forrest Sherman (DDG-98) is an Arleigh Burke-class guided missile destroyer in the United States Navy. She is named for Admiral Forrest Percival Sherman, and is the second US Navy ship to bear the name. She is part of Destroyer Squadron 28.

Coastal Isle

Coastal Isle a three thousand tonne cargo ship grounded at Garroch head at the south end of Bute on Monday the 2nd of July. She was freed by the Svitzer tug Anglegarth and proceeded to Greenock under her own power.

It was revealed at a later court case that the master of the ship had fallen asleep.

Clyde Walkway







Part of the Clyde walkway close to the Kingston bridge in the centre of Glasgow collapsed into the river on the 27 February2013.

The walls on this part of the river were founded on wooden piles as can be seen in the pictures,the photographs were taken at high tide and don't show the full extent of the collapse.

Finnarrow







Stena Lines ferry Finarrow was involved in an incident at Holyhead Port Anglesley on the 16 February,she subsequently arrived on the Clyde to be dry docked at Inchgreen for repairs.
She his seen here berthed just outside the dry dock.
